Job Title: English Tutor/Governor for VIP Family in Barvikha
Location: Barvikha, Moscow Region
Job Description:
A prominent international family is looking for a professional and energetic English Tutor/Governor to join their household and support their two children, aged 6 and 10, in developing strong English communication and academic skills. The ideal candidate will be female, with prior experience in private family settings and a passion for creative, child-centered learning.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver a personalized English-learning program focusing on speaking, reading, and writing skills.
• Create engaging lessons using interactive activities, games, and cultural themes to inspire curiosity and confidence.
• Support the children with school assignments and reading practice in a structured yet enjoyable manner.
• Coordinate with household staff and nannies to ensure the children’s routines are consistent and balanced.
• Organize occasional educational outings and cultural experiences in Moscow.
• Communicate progress reports and recommendations to the parents on a regular basis.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience teaching or tutoring children privately or in schools.
• A warm, adaptable, and professional approach with young learners.
• Excellent English language proficiency (native-level preferred).
• Ability to maintain professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality at all times.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with bilingual or international families.
• Familiarity with the British or IB curriculum.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00–18:00
Salary: from $1,200 USD per week (depending on experience)
Employment Type: Full-time, long-term position.
Accommodation and meals are provided during working hours. Daily transport between Moscow Metro Slavyansky Bulvar and Barvikha is arranged by the family.
